Faamatau put himself on the map by having standout games in front of scouts when they were there for the likes of Cordell Broadus (Diamond Bar) and Dallis Todd (La Mirada). Faamatau’s size, strength (360 bench) and speed (5.0, 40 yard dash) have D1 scouts drooling. Other schools interested are UCLA and USC.
Faamatau will be a huge part of Norwalk’s program this year on both sides of the ball. Last year the Lancers advanced all the way to the CIF Southeast Final before falling short. This year Faamatau hopes to lead the Lancers to the promised land.
