(La Canada)- The Ramsey Lambert era at La Canada is now off to a 3-0 start after a 20-0 victory over Glendale on Friday night.
Like a battered middle-weight fighter the Spartans are hardly perfect, and not pretty, but still find a way to get the victory. The game with the Nitros was no exception.
With 1:57 in the first half LC got on the board with a 52-yard scoring run by Ryan Breneman to lead by a touchdown at the half.
The Spartans extended the lead to 13-0 mid way through the third quarter when Anthony Connell took a bad snap on a field goal attempt 18-yards for a touchdown.
The Nitros tried to rally but LC’s Andrew Gunter picked off a pass and returned it 75-yards for a touchdown to close the scoring.
