There are a couple of changes in the top six this week as two unbeaten teams needed to advance up the pole while two others needed to drop. Sierra Canyon and San Dimas are looking solid and are looking to stake an early claim to the division’s final four.

1. Sierra Canyon (3-0) A balanced attack with 740 total passing yards and 590-yards on the ground is giving opposing defensive coordinators nightmares.

2. San Dimas (2-1) The Saints serve notice to the Mid Valley Division with a 38-14 win over a Diamond Bar team averaging 46 points per game.

3. Viewpoint (3-0) The Patriots keep playing well, winning and now moving up the poll.

4. Northview (3-0) What Andres Hooper lacks in size he more than makes up in determination and is a big reason the Vikings are undefeated.

5. Paraclete (1-2) Dropped a couple of places as expectations were a little higher to be competitive against Hart.

6. Pomona (2-0) Too many questions surrounding the cancellation of the game against Mission Prep to remain in the top five.

7. Arroyo (2-1) Nice comeback in the win against Montebello but the way the Oilers are playing kind of takes the shine off the win.

8. Covina (1-1) The Colts didn’t loose any ground after their matchup against bye.

9. Ganesha (2-1) Make it into the top ten but Friday’s loss will leave them on the bubble.

10. Gabrielino (1-1) Loss to Rio Hondo Prep was disappointing for the Eagles and they’ll need a better showing Friday against Mar Vista to keep their spot.

In the mix: Brentwood (2-1), Schurr (1-2), Rowland (1-1), Bassett (1-2)
