(Rosemead) – San Dimas continued to roll after an opening week loss to Monrovia with a 42-6 rout of Rosemead Friday night. The Saints put their foot on the pedal and never let up in cruising to a third straight victory.

Chris Rufus and Manny Elizalde both had over 100 yards rushing for San Dimas and quarterback Andrew Avila scrambled effectively and also caught a TD pass. Defensively Andrew Bernal was all over the field and Josiah Erickson and Bobby Rios disrupted the Rosemead offense all night long.

Meanwhile Rosemead is still searching for its first win after four consecutive losses. The Panthers open Mission Valley League play next week against El Monte. The Saints have a bye and will then face Bonita in the Smudgepot on October 2.
