The ebb and flow of this game kept all attendees in their seats until the final seconds Friday night. There were a total of five lead changes which kept the momentum switching from sideline to sideline with Colony rallying to score the last 13 points to beat Pomona 42-36.
The Titans started the game strong jumping out to a 14-0 lead with 3:39 left in the first quarter. The Red Devils stormed back scoring 22 unanswered points to take a 22-14 lead at halftime. Down 14-8 in the second Pomona used a fake punt to keep their drive alive and spur a points rally that left the Titans sideline deflated.
The Titans took control in the beginning of the second half scoring 14 points in the third quarter to take a 28-22 lead into the fourth. The Titans lead would not last long as the Red Devils scored 14 points in less than a minute jump out to a 36-28 lead with 11:07 in the fourth. The Titans closed the show scoring the last 13 points to win 42-36.

- Pomona had a chance late , after Colony scored with 48.9 seconds left, Darreon Lockett connected on a 55-yard pass to have Pomona on the Titans 25 with 30 seconds left
- Pomona fell to 2-2 (forfeit last week) while Colony improved to 3-1.
