(Claremont)- Duty Tran-Sampson ran for three touchdowns and Claremont passed the fifty mark in a 52-19 drubbing of Covina Friday night.
Tran-Sampson scored on runs of three, six and two yards in the first half as the Wolfpack went up 28-6 at halftime.
Ryan Connor and Jordan Goodrich hooked up twice through the air. Connor found Goodrich for a 35-yard strike in the second quarter and later the pair linked up for a 68-yard bomb in the third.
A blocked punt and three Covina turnovers led to four more Claremont touchdowns in the second half.
Covina scored with 52 seconds left in the fourth quarter on a five-yard keeper by quarterback Joe Benavidez for the final tally of the evening.
Claremont, who was 1-9 last year, improved to 3-1 while the Colts dropped to 1-2.
