El Monte 60 Pasadena Marshall 13 FINAL – After being shutout last week the Lions explode for 60 points on Marshall. El Monte improves to 1-1 in league.

South El Monte 40 Gabrielino 36  FINAL – South El Monte wins the shootout of Eagles. Jaime Michel hit Angel Reyes on a 22-yard TD pass late in the fourth for the win. Gabrielino simply ran out of time.

La Puente 77 Workman 7 FINAL – Erick Morales rushed for four touchdowns and passed for three to lead the Warriors.

Nogales 27 Gladstone 0 FINAL -Cameron Eaglin rushed for 206 yards and 4 TDs in the Nobles rout , including scoring scampers of 34 and 66 yards. LP also had two interception returns for scores. Nogales is 2-3 while the Gladiators fell to 0-5.

Inter-Division
Whittier 18 Schurr 12 (DBL OT) FINAL- Eddie Orta ran for three touchdowns including the game winner in the second OT and Anthony Pina added 137 yards rushing for Whittier. Schurr’s Adam Polanco accounted for 140 yards and two touchdowns for Schurr.

Cathedral 36 Verbum Dei 0 FINAL- Phantoms inprove to 5-0; have outscored last three opponents 115-3.

Chino 30 Rowland 16 FINAL  
Montclair 41 Wilson 7 FINAL

Maranatha 41 Mountain View 6 FINAL – Eli Snyder threw for 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Caleb Devine rushed for 106 yards and two scores for the Minutemen who improve to 6-0.

Lynwood 56 Firebaugh 0 FINAL – The Knights are perfect at 5-0 after burning Firebaugh. 

Southeast Division
Pacific League
Glendale 28 Arcadia 14 – FINAL- Daniel Jung rushed for 126 yards and Glendale racked up nearly 300 yards in total offense. Abraham Martinez also had a key interception. It was the first time Glendale has beaten Arcadia since 1991.  

Pasadena 47 Hoover 0 FINAL – Pasadena quarterbck Jorge Reyna didn’t play but it didn’t slow down the Bulldogs. Tyrek Adams stepped in for Reyna and accounted for four total touchdowns. He was 4 of 11 for 124 yards and two scores and he also scored twice on the ground. Pasadena turned three turnovers into 21 points. 

Suburban League
Mayfair 42 Artesia 21 FINAL – The Monsoons fell behind in the first quarter but Isaiah Jackson hit Ricky Hickson on a TD strike in the second to get the rally started. Faizon Creighton got loose for a 42-yard TD run in the second to give Mayfair the lead that they never relinquished. Monsoons are 1-1 in league.

Norwalk 62 Cerritos 8 FINAL – Chris Walker had three touchdowns (rushing, receiving, return) and sophomore Carlos Jaurequi scored twice on the ground. Tyrant Davis, Joseph Armas, Jordan Thomas, and Ryan McDowell also found paydirt. Ausencio Navarro fired two TD passes for the Lancers who improve to 4-2, 2-0 in league.    

Non-League
El Rancho 47 Katella 14 FINAL – Andrew Perea rushed for three scores and threw for one while piling up 192 yards passing to lead the Dons. El Rancho exploded for 34 points in the second quarter to erase an early deficit.    
Warren 42 Gardena 16- FINAL – Warren improves to 3-2 in the SGV league with the victory. There is now a four-way tie for second behind 5-0 Lynwood.

Central Division
Jurupa Valley 28 Ontario 6 FINAL – Jurupa Valley jumps on Ontario for 13 first quarter points and cruise to defeat Ontario. 

Ayala 17 Damien 13 FINAL – Bulldogs defense holds late in the game as Damien driving for the game winning score. Kevin Bizub scores on a catch from Michael Morales to give Ayala a seven point lead before the half. Spartan kicker Matt Amrhein kicks field goals of 36 and 37 to help the offense. Dylan Thigpen scores a touchdown to lead Damien’s offense. 

Pacific 34 Bloomington 8 FINAL

Moreno Valley 28 Colton 14 FINAL – Tough start to the season continues for Yellowjackets after going down early to Vikings. After going two straight games without a score, Colton finally find the end zone as Alex Toledo finds Augustine Uribe for a 26 yard touchdown reception. Moreno Valley brother tandem of Justice (2 passing) and Justin Tyler (1 rushing) prove too much as they account for three touchdowns in the victory. 

Grand Terrace 25 Arlington 0 FINAL – After giving up 57 points in their last two losses, Titans shut out Lions with a strong defensive performance.

De Anza League
Desert Hot Springs 41 Yucca Valley 34  FINAL: Roman Camacho provides the game winner for DHS.

Shadow Hills 49 Desert Mirage 0 FINAL

Big Bear 40 Rancho Mirage 7 FINAL: Quarterback Logan Wolf rushes for 194 yards and four touchdowns, completes three of four passes for another score as the Bears roll to 5-1 & 2-0 in league.

Twentynine Palms 26 Granite Hills 23 FINAL: 29ers pull out victory with a little over a minute to play when quarterback Jimmy Shragge connects with Beayahn Carrillo for a 76-yard touchdown pass and catch.

St. Anthony 17 Valley Christian 14 FINAL: Crusaders back Jonathan Nicholson rushes for 110 yards and touchdown but his team loses its second game in three weeks. VC is 4-2 heading into Olympic League play. 

Cantwell 45 Bosco Tech 0 FINAL: The Cardinals score 28 points in the first quarter, lead 35-0 at the half and cruise to easy win. Jean Luc Dauphiney rushes for a pair of touchdowns.

Brentwood 43 Windward 14 FINAL – Brentwood’s Eli Stern throws for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Scores two rushing touchdowns as well. Matt Nyman also adds a “pick-6” to help lead the Eagles to an easy victory.

Central Division
Non-League
South Pasadena 42 Beverly Hills 9 FINAL – Matthew Ayala runs for 46 yards, has three touchdowns (one rushing, one interception return and one fumble recovery) to help the Tigers beat the Normans. Michael Partida threw for 115 yards and a score and Max Luck led the team with 71 receiving yards.

Great Oak 42 Summit 21 FINAL – Wolfpack starts quick going up 35-7 before the Sky Hawks finally get their offense going. Great Oak offense was mainly Nick Fisher who scored four touchdowns with runs of 22 and 58 yards. Summit star Damian Alloway returned a kick off 99 yards and caught a touchdown for 66 yards to lead the offense.

Flintridge Prep 44 Campbell Hall 14 FINAL – Rebels go out to a 28-0 lead to win their 3rd straight win.
