2. The Orioles’ Buck Showalter wins AL Manager of the Year. Mike Scioscia finishes second.

3. The LA KISS is holding open tryouts this Sunday November 16 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Whittier College.

4. San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis will miss the rest of the season and require surgery for a strained muscle on his left big toe.

5. Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin has been charged with one count of misdemeanor battery for an incident in a Las Vegas nightclub last month.
