All games are at 7:30 pm unless otherwise indicated

Friday November 21

St. Francis (11-0, Angelus #1) at La Serna (9-2, Del Rio #2)

We’re still being told Jeremiah Martin is a game time decision. Never heard of a guy coming back in a week from a broken collarbone but okay. The truth is it won’t matter if the Golden Knights start Miles Bryant, Miles Davis or Les Miles, they’re going to win. Bryant will manage and Dylan Crawford, Areg Nazarian and John Carroll will make plays.

St. Francis 28 La Serna 21

Crescenta Valley (11-0, Pacific #1) at Paramont (7-4, SGV #3)

Yes it was a big win by Paramount. No it won’t happen again. Crescenta Valley blew out Harvard-Westlake. This won’t be close. Falcons come up big on both sides of the ball.

Crescenta Valley 38 Paramount 14

Downey (8-3, SGV #1) at Cathedral (10-1, Angelus #2)

I like Downey, I really do. I just don’t see the Vikings going into Cathedral and stealing a victory. A Jorge Reyna would be nice here. The Phantoms get it done and advance.

Cathedral 24 Downey 21

Burbank (8-3, Pacific #3) at Salesian (5-6, Angelus at large)

Two teams that really weren’t expected to be here. Burbank has been beat up and Salesian was…well…4-6. If Burbank beat El Rancho on the road then the Bulldogs can beat Salesian. But then again Salesian beat La Mirada. Burbank has battled through everything all year. The Bulldogs will battle through Saleisan. Dogs…close.

Burbank 21 Salesian 17
