1. Alabama is # 1 in the College Football Rankings. Mississippi State falls to four.

2. The Pittsburgh Steelers cut running back LeGarrette Blount less than 24 hours after he leaves the field early in Monday night’s game with Tennessee.

3. UCLA favored by 3 over USC.

4. Quinn Cook scores 19 points to lead number four ranked Duke to a 81-71 win over number 19 ranked Michigan State.

5. The NFL is expected to pay out $675 million to former players suffering from neurocognitive diseases.

6. Salesian’s Keisean Nixon, who returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown and also ran back a kick off 85 yards for a score in a 24-18 playoff win over La Mirada, hadn’t played since September.
