2.  The Oregon Ducks remain a 6.5 point favorite over Ohio State in tonight’s College Football Playoff National Championship game.

3.  Village Christian (14-4, 1-0) at Maranatha (5-7, 0-0) tomorrow night at 6:30pm.

4.  The Anaheim Ducks retire Teemu Selanne’s #8 jersey Sunday night prior to their 5-4 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

5.  After benefiting from a controversial call against Detroit, the Dallas Cowboys have a controversial call go against them and lose to the Green Bay Packers 26-21.

6.  The Cleveland Rams were given permission to move to Los Angeles on this day in 1946.

7.  Belated birthday wishes to Temple City High teacher and football coach Riley Saxon who turned 26 yesterday.

8.  On this day in 1969 the New York Jets defeated the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Super Bowl III.
