1.) Hall of Fame High School All Star Game at West Covina HS. is tonight at 7:30pm. Gates open at 6:pm

2.) The California Showcase will be held on Saturday, February 21st at the Orange Country Great Park in Irvine, CA. —The Showcase is a FREE, one-day, non-profit event presented by former UCLA coach Terry Donahue and the National Football Foundation for high schools seniors to display their skills to Division II, III, and NAIA football programs. 4.) On this day in 1996 Magic Johnson made his comeback with the Lakers after abruptly retiring in 1991 following his HIV diagnosis. He scored 19 points and dished out 10 assists.

5.) Mid Valley Sports wishes a happy birthday, a day in advance to Lexi Madrid. She will turn 18 on January 31st. She is a three time All Almont League selection playing second base for the Schurr Spartans softball team.

6.) On this day in 1983, the Washington Redskins beat the Miami Dolphins 27-17 to win Super Bowl XVII with John Riggins winning the MVP trophy.
