Donovan “Captain” Morgan returns to the KISS

(Anaheim) – Donovan “Captain” Morgan has returned to the LA KISS. The KISS reacquired Morgan and rookie wide receiver Lacoltan Bester from the Las Vegas Outlaws for running back Derrick Ross.

Morgan was the KISS’ leading receiver last year with 141 receptions for 1878 yards and 37 touchdowns. Morgan, a six year Arena Football League veteran, has earned All Arena recognition four times. Morgan has over 9000 yards receiving and 205 touchdowns in his career.

Ross, who was acquired by the KISS in a trade earlier this year, has spent five years in the league and has been All-Arena four times. Ross’ best season was in 2012 when he rushed for 32 touchdowns with the Philadelphia Soul. In 2013 Ross became the Arena League’s all-time leading rusher. In his career he has rushed for 2260 yards and 142 touchdowns.

Morgan and Ross will face each other in Week Three at Honda Center when the KISS hosts the Outlaws.
