(El Monte) – “It’s never too early for football”, said Arroyo OC Chris MacMillan Saturday as he ran his team through some offensive sets.

The Knights are out. In fact they’ve been put for several weeks. “We’ve been out on the field every Saturday since about mid February,” said Arroyo head coach Jim Singiser.

While the MacMillan’s offense ran various plays against Singiser’s defense, the linemen were at the other end of the field slamming into each other. No names to be thrown out yet as to who is going to have a big year and no predictions as to where the Knights might finish. But rather just a note to let you know that it is indeed spring and that means that the footballs are already being thrown around.

“This has been a fun team to coach so far. It’s nice to see 50 kids out here on a Saturday April, ” Singiser said. Here’s a few shots.
