1.  The Los Angeles Dodgers have won seven straight and eight of their last 10 and are in first place in the NL West 1.5 games up on the Padres.

2.  Tim Tebow has reportedly signed a one year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

3.  The defending MLB Champion San Francisco Giants are currently 4-10 and in last place in the NL West.

4.  Belated Mid Valley birthday wishes to Mid Valley fan Geoff Rios who turned 45 Sunday.

5.  Chris Paul and Blake Griffin combine for 58 points to lead the Clippers to a 107-92 win over the Spurs and take a 1-0 lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

6.  Dodger manager Don Mattingly turns 54 today.

7.  Marshall’s Matthew Arnst is hitting .349 and leading the Mission Valley League in rbi’s with 15.

8.  On this day in 1996 the Chicago Bulls won a record 72 games.

9.  Burbank’s Caitlyn Brooks is hitting .465 with four home runs and 17 rbi’s. Burbank and Burroughs are tied at 6-0 atop the Pacific League in league play.
