KISS Loses in Las Vegas

LA KISS

(Las Vegas) – LA scored first on a field goal but Las Vegas returned the ensuing kick off for a touchdown to take the lead for good, and cruised to a 49-16 rout of the KISS Monday night in the Rock Star Rivalry.

Matt Basseuner, the third string quarterback, threw a pair of touchdown passes for the KISS as LA went into the half down 28-16, but the Outlaws outscored the KISS 21-0 in the second half. Joe Clancy replaced Basseuner in the third quarter but was unable to get the KISS going.

J.J. Raterink, formerly of the KISS, threw a pair of touchdown passes for Las Vegas in the first half and ran for another to get the Outlaws off and running.

The Outlaws, in their first year in the league, improved to 3-2 while the KISS fell to 0-6. The KISS has lost 12 straight overall dating back to last year.
