1. The Chicago Blackhawks score two goals in the third period to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1 in Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals.

2. The Seattle Mariners acquire Mark Trumbo from the Arizona Diamondbacks as part of a six-player trade.

3. La Canada names Ryan Zerbel as new head football coach. Zerbel replaces Ramsey Lambert who resigned last week.

4. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson returns to the practice field for the first time since September.

5. CIF Division 5 Finals: Temple City vs. Hemet Saturday night 7:00 p.m.- UC Riverside.

6. La Mirada DE Keanu Saleapaga (class of 2016) has received offers from Arizona and Arizona State. Indiana has offered Matadore DB/WR Micah Croom.

7. CIF Division 3 Finals: Walnut vs. Redondo Union Saturday 1:00 p.m. – San Manuel Stadium -San Bernardino.
