2.  The U.S. Women’s National team will take on Germany tomorrow at 4 p.m. in the semi-finals of the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

3.  It is being reported in Cleveland that LeBron James will opt out of of his player option and become a free agent.

4.  Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and NFL Network host Warren Sapp has been charged by Las Vegas authorities with domestic violence.

5.  The Angels have won two straight to pull within 4 games of the Houston Astros.

6.  Current Dodger pitching coach Rick Honeycutt (61) and former Dodger 3rd baseman and left fielder Pedro Guerrero (56) share a birthday today.

7.  The 2015 Wimbledon Championship begins today with 67 matches on the schedule.

8.  On this day in 1990, the A’s Dave Stewart no-hits Blue Jays &  the Dodger’s Fernando Valenzuela no-hits St Louis 6-0. It was the first time there were no-hitters in both leagues on the same day.

9.  Whittier Christian’s 2015 non-league schedule includes games against Bishop, Arrowhead Christian, Whittier, Duarte and St. Margaret’s.
