1. The Tennessee Titans sign quarterback Marcus Mariota to a four year deal. Financial terms were not revealed.

2. The Kansas City Chiefs waive cornerback Justin Cox one day after he was arrested on charges of burglary, domestic assault and trespassing.

3. The Kansas City Royals send opening day starter Yordano Ventura to AAA Omaha. Ventura is 4-7 with an ERA of 5.19.

4. Denver quarterback Peyton Manning has agreed to contribute to the fund to help the families of the five service members who were killed in last week’s Chattanooga, Tennessee shooting.

5. LA Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler, who just completed his 36th year with the team, signs for two more years.

6. “Covina will be better than Northview and possibly San Dimas.” – MVS commenter “assistant”.

7. Barcelona netted about $2.2 million for Tuesday’s game at the Rose Bowl while the Galaxy’s cut will approach $1 million.

8. The Dodgers are 20-25 on the road after losing at Atlanta 4-3 Tuesday night.

9. Happy birthday to former Oakland Raider receiver/Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown who turns 49 today.
