Cal running back Robert Leos
Robert Leos: California, LB/RB, Sr., 5-10, 180. 2014 stats: Rush- 31-250 yards, 2 TD. Def- 15 tackles 10 assisted, 25 total.
Leos will be cog in the California wheel this year playing on both sides of the ball. Last year as a secondary back he rushed for 20 yards can also catch balls out of the backfield. From his linebacker position he had 15 solo tackles and was in on 25 overall.
“Yeah, he’s the man. He should have a big year for us,” said Cal head coach Kyle Trudell.
He’ll definitely get plenty of opportunities in Trudell’s option offense whether it be running the ball , catching it, or protecting the quarterback. In 2015, Leos will be asked to do a little bit of everything.
