Can Crescenta Valley Repeat?

Can Crescenta Valley Repeat?

Same as last week…Arcadia has had an influx of players and could be the third best team in the Pacific. We’re hearing good things out of Burbank, and Crescenta Valley is not just a school, it’s a program now.Cathedral is a year better and continues to re-load. As far as St. Francis, La Mirada, La Serna and Downey, well… they’re contenders every year. Cal has good numbers and looks improved while Salesian is a wild card. Remember, there are only ten teams.

1. Cathedral – Andrew Tovar is back; The Phantoms welcome Kameron Johnson to the fold.

2. St. Francis – The Miles Bryant era officially begins.

3. La Mirada – The Matadores are always loaded; Too talented to rank lower.

4. Downey – Daevon Vigilant and the Vikings preparing to make another run.

5. Crescenta Valley – Falcons took a graduation hit but the excitement and the solid coaching staff remains intact.

6. Salesian – Mustangs hard to call early. Always talented; made a late run last year.

7. La Serna – The Lancers still the team to beat in the Del Rio until somebody says otherwise.

8. Burbank – HC Richard Broussard likes quarterback Guy Gibbs.

9. Arcadia – Apaches look like a different team in the summer.

10. California – Evan Barajas, Robert Leos and Big John Vasquez.
