(Glendale)—It didn’t take visiting Golden Valley long as they turned a 22-0 halftime lead into a 39-20 victory over Crescenta Valley on Thursday night at Glendale High School.
The loss is CV’s first since 2013 and snaps a 16 game winning streak.
The Grizzlies dominated in the trenches as their running back K.J. Maduike churned out 126 yards and three touchdowns.
On the defensive side Golden Valley hounded Falcons quarterback Tyler Hill all night and sacked him six times.
