1. Former New York Yankee Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra passed away at the age of 90. Berra won 10 World Series championships, won three MVP awards and played in 15 All Star games.

2. UCLA linebacker Myles Jack is out for the season after suffering a significant knee injury in practice Tuesday.

3. Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta tossed a three hitter Tuesday night in a 4-0 win over the Brewers. Arrieta became the first pitcher in the majors to reach 20 wins.

4. The Angels beat Houston 6-5 Wednesday to move to within 1 1/2 games of the Astros for the second wild card spot.

5. Bonita vs. San Dimas at Citrus College (Smudgepot) -Friday Night 7:00 p.m.

6. Seattle safety Kam Chancellor returns to the Seahawks ending his holdout.
