Game Night Central Division: Week Ten

By Joe Torosian

(All game times 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.)

Friday, November 6

HACIENDA
West Covina (2-2, 4-5) at Charter Oak (4-0, 8-1)
In another year, next year maybe, this is a great game. The Chargers just have too much and the Bulldogs not enough.
Charter Oak: 36-7

Los Altos (2-2, 5-4) at Diamond Ranch (2-2, 6-3)
This is a win or go home game. Each team has been good and bad this year. Go with the Conqs because they have the best player in Tyler Nevens.
Los Altos: 31-17

MT. BALDY
Don Lugo (4-0, 5-4) at Colony (4-0, 6-3)
This should be a game the defending Central division champs handle. The rub is the Titans aren’t the same as they were a year ago and the Conquistadores have been looking to the game all season.
Don Lugo: 28-21

PALOMARES
Ayala (2-2, 3-6) at Bonita (2-2, 7-2)
Win and your in..lose and you’ll have to pay your way into your next game.
Bonita: 27-12

South Hills (2-2, 3-6) at Claremont (2-2, 7-2)
The Huskies won’t go away, and the Wolfpack keeps opening the door for lesser opponents. Stay sensible go with Claremont.
Claremont: 35-10

RIO HONDO
South Pasadena (2-2, 7-2) at Temple City (1-3, 3-6)
A victory for the Rams could be the biggest for the program since 2008. Highly unlikely, but it would be mistake to assume TC is inept. Rams HC Marc Shettleroe has done a solid job…and he knows the Tigers. He came from SP.
South Pasadena: 20-13
