Mid Valley Divison Offensive Coordinator of the Year: Sierra Canyon’s Mark Serve

Sierra Canyon’s offensive coordinator Mark Serve.

The Sierra Canyon Trailblazers had the most prolific offense in the Mid Valley Division for 2015 and coach Mark Serve had a lot to do with that. Their 739 points over 15 games works out to just under 50 a game and propelled Sierra Canyon to the the Mid Valley Division Championship. Under Serve’s tutelage Niko Harris shined with 3,260 yards and 47 touchdowns passing while Bobby Cole added 2,468 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground. Eric Markes and Kohl Hollinquest combined for 1,868 receiving yards and 19 of Harris’ 47 scored.

There is a lot to be said about this offensive juggernaut who’s numbers could have been even more astronomical had a running clock not been involved in the majority of their games. Underclassmen also got in on quite a bit of action as the starters were pulled once games were well in hand.

Congrats to Coach Serve and Sierra Canyon’s 2015 Mid Valley Division Championship season!
