5. USC defensive tackle Kenny Bigelow tore his ACL in practice last Thursday and is out seven to nine months.
6. Kevin Stallings leaves Vanderbilt after 17 years to take over as the head coach at Pittsburgh.
7. The Golden State Warriors improve to 66-7 overall with a 117-105 win over Philadelphia.
8. Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward is swarmed by bees and stung multiple times in a spring training game against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday. He recovered to hit a two-run home run in a 12-9 loss.
9. Dodger third base coach Chris Woodward played at Mt. San Antonio College and hails from Covina.
10. Happy Birthday to Lakers Head Coach Byron Scott who turns 55 today.
