(Rosemead) – Rosemead quarterback Steven Nava has decided to continue his football career at North Dakota State his father Larry Nava confirmed Monday.

Nava will go to the Bisons as a walk on, but there is some scholarship money involved. Nava chose to walk on at NDSU despite several other offers.

“I chose North Dakota State over St. John’s, and some division three schools in California. I visited in late February for the admissions tour for a day and then this past Friday for a day,” Steven Nava told the Bison Report. “Coach Hedberg showed me all of the athletic facilities and then gave me a tour of the Fargodome. The facilities at NDSU are easily the best of any school I visited. Can’t wait to get my locker and be a part of it all.”

North Dakota State is a Division 1 AA school located in Fargo that last season featured the possible number one overall pick in the NFL draft in Carson Wentz.

Last year at Rosemead Nava threw for 2,991 yards and 30 touchdowns with just five interceptions.
