3. Giovani dos Santos scored his fourth goal in three games to help the Galaxy earn a 1-1 draw with Sporting Kansas City Sunday.

4. John Elway announced his retirement from the Denver Broncos on this day in 1999.

5. The Ohio State Buckeys had a record 12 players selected in the 2016 NFL draft.

6. Happy Birthday to former Laker Jamaal Wilkes who turns 63 today.
