(Montebello) The Schurr Spartans hosted a lineman competition Saturday morning. The bubbas, or hogs if you prefer, from Schurr, El Monte, Mt. View, West Covina, Bishop Amat, St. Paul and Buena Park locked horns in various competitions throughout the morning. The competition ended with the one-on-one drills.
Winners:
Team Winner Weightlifting Competition: (Bench 185) – Buena Park.
Individual Winner Weightlifting Competition: Cedric Dashiel II – Buena Park.
Team Winner Obstacle Course: – Buena Park.
Offensive Line 1 on 1 Team Winner – Bishop Amat.
Defensive Line 1 on 1 Team Winner- Buena Park.
