1. La Mirada – (1-0) – Matadores might be better than last year’s edition.

2. Buena Park- (1-0) – Coyotes party in Old Town Pasadena.

3. St. Francis – (0-0) – Golden Knights open up with Westco.  

4. Glendora (1-0) – Will be tested this week vs. Damien.

5. Sierra Canyon (2-0) – Already two wins under their belt.

6. Charter Oak – (1-0) – Brian Casteel lives up to the hype.

7. Crescenta Valley – (0-0) – Falcons get Verdugo Hills this week.

8. Los Altos – (1-0) – Tyler Nevens unplugged.

9. Downey – (1-0) – Vikes off on the right track.

10. Cathedral – (1-0) – Phantom fans are out in full force already.

11. Northview – (0-1) – Nobody hurt. It was Charter Oak.

12. San Dimas – (1-0) – Jarell Sykes still doing his thing.

13. La Serna – (0-1) – Lancers have tough non-league.

14. San Marino – (0-1) – The drop off may be bigger than expected.

15. Chino – (0-1) – Should get well vs. Baldwin Park.

16. Montebello – (1-0) – Oilers too slick for El Monte.
