(Glendora)- Believe it or not, it was a scoreless first quarter. The other three, however, were a nightmare for host Glendora as Charter Oak charged its way to a 43-0 victory on Friday night at Citrus College.

The running clock was invoked at the start of the fourth quarter and the rout was established on the first play of the second quarter.

Brian Casteel scored on a 1-yard run and then came back two minutes later to catch a 1-yard pass from quarterback Bret Clemetson.

If the Tartans were given a rah-rah speech in the locker room any hope it gave expired with the second half kick-off. Hamilton took it 83-yards yards to paydirt and the Fat Lady was done warming up with the score 34-0.

With 5:57 to play Casteel scored his third touchdown on a 2-yard run.

By the time Rafael Guizar added a 24-yard field the clock on the scoreboard was spinning uninterrupted.

The victory improved the Chargers to 3-0 and dropped Glendora to 1-2.
