2.) Former Oakland Raiders/Green Bay Packers CB/FS Charles Woodson (1997 Heisman Trophy winner for Michigan) turns 40 today.

9.) On this date in 2005 South El Monte came back from a 21-0 deficit at Wilson to score a 48-42 victory. Southman quarterback, Lee Aguirre passed (258 yards) for three touchdowns and ran (195 yards) for three more, to account 453-yards of total offense. Joe Morales added 16 tackles for South, while the Wildcats were led by running back Daniel Bernal’s 135 rushing yards and three touchdowns (Including a 90-yard kick-off return).
