5. Justin Forsett signs with Detroit Lions.
6. Kevin Hogan promoted to Cleveland Browns roster as backup to Cody Kessler. Charlie Whitehurst gets medical release.
7. LSU mascot Mike VI passes away at the age of 11 due to cancer.
8. Dortmund being pointed to BC Mile instead of BC Classic.
9. On Saturday, Miss Temple City won her second Grade I stakes race at Keeneland in Shadwell Turf. She was bought by former La Salle Grad Bob Feld before being sold to The Club Racing LLC.
10. “How does it feel to be 2-2? You guys stink!” -Unidentified Texas Longhorn fan at Humperdink’s in Dallas. The Longhorns were also 2-2.
