1. There have been three 6-6 ties in the NFL. The Cardinals have participated in all three.
2. Cubs-Indians begin quest tonight to end World Series Championship drought.
3. Columbus faces the Los Angeles Kings tonight at Staples Center.
4. NBA begins 2016-17 season tonight with the Cleveland Cavs raising banner.
5. Denver defeats Houston in MNF. It was the sixth time that a former Bronco quarterback faced their former team. Only Kyle Orton won first attempt against them.
6. Cheapest seats for Cleveland in World Series is $724 (SRO), Chicago for a Game 4 ticket is $2900 (SRO).
7. An Unidentified 18-20 year old man in Providence, RI suited up in a youth football game. The losing team’s coach made the decision to play him causing the team to forfeit the rest of their games and being kicked out of league.
8. In 1884,  the first series called a World Series was played between the Providence Grays and the NY Mets. The Grays won three games to none. MLB considers 1903 as the first World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Americans.
9. 111 years ago, the 1st College Football Crab Bowl Classic was played as Navy defeated Maryland, 17-0 in Annapolis.
