(“The TEN” is not a top ten but ten items worth being included in “The TEN”) 1. Arroyo’s Ernesto Camacho’s 412 yards and seven touchdowns passing in last Friday’s CIF Division 12 semi-final against Sergerstrom.

2. The Los Angeles Rams defense gave up 555 yards of total offense in their 49-21 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

3. After wrapping up the majority of their non-conference schedule with a 77-62 win over Cal State Los Angeles, the APU Cougars will begin their PACWEST schedule Thursday night at Concordia University.

4. Former Downey High and Pasadena High quarterback Jorge Reyna verbally commits to Fresno State.

5. USC and UCLA are both undefeated at 6-0 and 7-0 to start the 2016-2017 men’s basketball season.

6. South El Monte’s Sal Tovar finished the season 2,801 yards rushing with 39 touchdowns. Tovar had more than 100 yards in all 13 games he played this season.

7. The Cleveland Browns are now 0-12 and are looking at becoming the fifth team to go winless in a season. The last team to do so was the 2008 Detroit Lions.

8. On this day in 1989 Rickey Henderson signs a then record $3 million a year contract with the Oakland A’s.

9. The LA Kings have won five straight and have moved into a tie for second place in the Pacific Division.
