2. The Baltimore Ravens cut kick returner Devin Hester.

3. The Arizona Cardinals release receiver Michael Floyd after he’s arrested on a DUI charge.

4. The Chicago White Sox sign left hander Derek Holland to a one-year, $6 million contract. Holland was 7-9 with a 4.95 ERA last year with Texas.

5. The Lakers fall to the Brooklyn Nets 107-97 for their eighth straight loss.

6. NFL owners unanimously approve a final tenant lease contract between the Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams.

7. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was cleared to practice Wednesday and is hoping to play December 24.

8. Happy Birthday to former Boston Red Sox/Angels first baseman Mo Vaughn who turns 49 today.

9. The LA Galaxy acquired the rights to midfielder Jermaine Jones who played for the Colorado Rapids last year.
