At this point, who would want it?
You’re guaranteed a 1-9 or 0-10 season and dealing with the idiot administration that created the situation.
Exactly! They constantly have pre season all Americans! They belong at least in division two.
My guess is that the Maranatha varsity baseball team was placed in Division IV on the basis of its overall record of 19-8-1 in 2016. (The Minutemen were also 9-3 in league last season.)
Going into today’s playoff game against Alhambra, Maranatha has an overall record of 21-7, and the Minutemen finished 8-4 in league play.
The 2016 season must have been Maranatha’s quantum leap; the school’s cumulative winning percentage over the course of several previous years was a little over .500.

Not sure why no one has mentioned it yet… but Arroyo has a couple “NEW” faces on its team. If I’m not mistaken one is from Arcadia. Old baldness himself is arming his Arroyo Knights for Division 9.
To Curious: Maybe it’s because Maranatha has a really good baseball program? A look at the Minutemen’s baseball page on MaxPreps could provide us some insight.
Passing at San Dimas Thur. The Mighty Rebels, Mean Green Monrovia and the SEM Running Eagles!!!
5 pm.
Frank Alonzo ?????? That is NOT uge.
If San Gabriel gets “Huge name coach” the parent/Booster club who thinks they own the high school and the team should stay the F away from coaching in the bleachers, you are the reason football is going down , because of people who are obnoxious good or great coaches quit, If you think just because you been to little Jrs games at Rebels makes you an expert, your wrong you know nothing about coaching. and you yell and your drunk in the bleachers and you criticize like they owe you and as if your are entitled. Please let the coach do his job and make comments 2 years later not the 1st.
Former Mtn.View HC Frank Alonzo will be new SG HC, sources close the the school has verified it.
Alonzo the last Coach to lead MV to the playoffs in 97, had a career 33-98 record as HC.

Congratulations to Alhambra coach Steve Gewecke on another Almont League championship and the Moors’ first-round playoff victory over Glenn High. Good luck against the Minutemen!
