1. Jeff Horn upsets Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision to become the WBO welterweight champion.

2. “My time is coming!” – Joseph Diaz undefeated, (24-0), boxer from South El Monte via Twitter.

3. Chauncey Billups withdraws his name from consideration from the Cleveland Cavaliers job.

4. The Indiana Pacers trade Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis and other considerations.

5. Guard Kyle Lowry re-signs with the Toronto Raptors, for three years, $100 million.

6. Former Lakers Center Darrall Imhoff, a San Gabriel native, who also played on the Olympic gold medal winning team in 1960, passed away at the age of 78.

7. Northview beats Diamond Ranch to win the SGV Shootout.

8. The Dodgers have no All-Star starters, but four players – Kenley Jansen Corey Seager, Clayton Kershaw and Cody Bellinger were selected to play.

9. On this day in 1970 the Angels’ Clyde Wright no-hits the Oakland A’s 8-0.

10. “I’ll say it loud and clear again. It’s the Dodger fans’ fault.”  Dodger reliever Kenley Jansen on the Dodgers not having any players voted into the starting lineup.

    Jansen is a tool if he doesn’t realize that at least have the population of Los Angeles can’t watch the Dodgers on the tv. Where does he think the fan base is going to come from? Besides the fact that being able to vote 25 times a day maybe something we just don’t have time for. Would he rather get a starting vote in the All Star game or 3 million + in the seats every year to help pay his fat contract?

    I’m just a casual boxing fan, but I know enough to know somebody got robbed!
    If it was wrestling I’d understand.
