2.) The Philadelphia Phillies hire Pedro Guerrero as an assistant hitting coach…Guerrero played in the Los Angeles Dodgers system…but is not THAT Pedro Guerrero…This Guerrero is only 28 years old.
3.) The South El Monte Eagles will make their third semifinals appearance in school history tonight against Santa Maria at The Swamp. Santa Maria is 8-4 this season and has 13 wins combined the last two seasons. The 12 previous seasons (2004-2015) Santa Maria won a combined 19 games.
