2. Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Urena is suspended six games for intentionally hitting Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves Wednesday night.

3. Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig is suspended two games for an altercation with San Francisco Giants catcher Nick Hundley Tuesday night.

4. Glendora beat Damien 41-28 Thursday night at Citrus College to kick off the 2018 high school football season.

5. The New York Mets set a franchise record for runs in a 24-4 rout of the Philadelphia Phillies Thursday in the first game of a doubleheader.

6. The Dodgers bullpen.

7. John Elway said the Denver Broncos offered Colin Kaepernick a contract in 2016 but the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback passed.

8. Kobe Bryant invested $6 million into the sports drink BodyArmour four years ago and his stake is now worth approximately $200 million.

    Sophomore Peter Costelli of Santa Margarita shredded the Downey secondary for 317 yards and 6 touchdowns last evening in a 59-21 win over the locals. When hearing that this kid is also a Trump supporter, John Elway offered him triple the Kaepernick deal to play in Denver when he becomes eligible.

    Dodger bullpen is in such sad shape that I’m working to get my fastball up to 75 so I can have a chance to be their closer.
