I suggest Mid Valley shutdown until summer football gets going so we don’t have to see stuff like the Tesla clown.

Quick shout-out to the La Crescenta/La Canada area. Crescenta Valley, La Canada, and St. Francis are all still alive in the basketball playoffs. Not bad for a five mile diameter.

Much love to the Los Altos basketball team for a great season. Also, much sympathy to Eric Sondheimer of the Times as he deals with the issue of getting window glass for his Tesla Model S, after a pebble cracked a side window during a freeway drive yesterday. The ace reporter says that he got an estimate of $1,000 to fix this damage, an outrageous amount for such a common fix. Problem is, the glass is only available through the Tesla company, which often is very slow to deliver parts, and then at a massive mark-up. I’d recommend to Eric that he identify himself as a reporter with the Times, and see how that affects his service….it may be the only way to prod the parts-monopoly operation known as Tesla into some kind of reasonable action.
