@everyone I dont think any of you know why this kid is living with the coach (if true) he might be helping the kid out. There are many players in the SGV that suffer from food insecurities and mostly all football coaches go the extra mile to help their players. Idk Coach C personally but he might have seen a young man with talent that needed help.
EM provides housing for transfers at the beautiful KLINGERMAN’S best dorms around the SGV. Davon Booth lives with a man and his family who’s been looking out for Booth since he was 10 years old, Booth doesn’t live with Coach Ceniceros. Get your facts straight assuming stuff makes you look really dumb and ignorant. Besides it’s not your business. Arroyo crybabies just need to accept the fact that your runner-ups. It’s going to be the same outcome if not worse this year. Doesn’t matter where Booth lives he still going to run all over Arroyo and the rest of the MVL!!!

Of course someone always has to resort to playing the race card. Kids live with him and his coaches. Is that a spade too? Or an ace up the sleeve? Bottom line is that is unethical. Recruiting is one thing, housing kids is another.

My thoughts on transfers and recruiting. Coaches that are talked about are too often not really coaches but enablers and snake oil salesmen.Their fame has come from their ability to entice kids to their programs and not for actually coaching up the local boys. And the school itself is culpable because they hire these guys for that purpose. If you think a athlete just suddenly knocks on a coaches door out of the blue without undue influence and prior contact I got a bridge to sell you. If you think it’s bad here in the SGV you ought to see the OC. It sometimes looks like a slave trade auction with kids for sale to the highest bidder.. Who gets lost in the shuffle are the good coaches. The ones that grind away year after year in the lower divisions whose teams year after year are 5-5 and 6-4 with nothing but boys from the hood. Somehow they make the playoffs often and even stage a run on occasion. I have no idea how they do it. They never get written about or interviewed but ask the players about their coach. These no name coaches are the real heart of football. They design offenses and defenses and practice methods that D1 college coaches steal as their own. Believe me on this. I prefer these guys way over the slick talking salesman.

@t.peterson @goldprick @coach friday NIGHTlight… Mr Peterson what we all have to understand is alot of these Arroyo people have a sickness and it’s called HATING. it’s ok when they recruit and are winning but they get the sickness when others have success, no matter what anybody’s says they will not give other MVL teams props. No matter how many recruits, studs, elite players you have on a team they still need to come together and buy into a system and mesh, so that’s when a good coach like Coach C and staff comes in. Last year at south em we thought we where looking good then with what we had then our starting QB A.j left we haven’t competed in to games and it looks like it’s going to be a tuff year AGAIN, but at least I get to cheer for some boys I watched since the pop Warner days so I support any of them and hope they do well. Remember Arroyo people 1st step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.

I believe it was Einstein who proved that the bending of light through time and space does not allow a game involving a 605 squad to mean anything. The corollary of this theory is that if a 605 team can earn its way back to the Del Rio, there might be grounds for caring one iota about said squad.

Oh Get Back Coach….we meet again. And for once I agree with you! I can’t deny that C is doing good things at EM. He’s actually running a program and you gotta give credit. HOWEVER, they wouldn’t be who they are with the transfers. He loves to recruit and I could never fully respect a man that is always looking to bring in talent from outside the area. But like I mentioned earlier, once his roommate Booth graduates he’s gone too. He’s not sticking around. He has no loyalty to the city and community. Once a better offer comes he’s gone with the wind.
I’ve heard rumors last year of SEM coaches throwing putasos at practice. In Gallardo’s defense he did can the two combatants. SEM is really a shell of what they were just a few years ago. But I do hear the talent is there. Supposedly they have their best QB since Jose Garay and they are pretty excited for a sophomore RB. If Gallardo can get that same level of coaching staff he had couple years ago they might be able to make a run. Still, how do you leave SEM to go play for the rival lions? Does Montoya crack the starting lineup at EM?

Every high school in America is in the weight room! Some are better at it than others, some put more of an emphasis on it but you’re being disingenuous if your saying the blueprint is in the Weight room. Jesses blueprint is and has always been the transfer game. Furthermore, just because someone can push more weight doesn’t mean he’s a better football player. Which is precisely why he goes out and gets talent. I find myself sounding like a hater but I actually am rooting for EM I just hate the schedule. But when you say things like the weight room is why EM is good this year that’s wrong… it helps but the reason why EM is good is because they have a kid from Vegas and several other talented transfers.

Wrong once again, Reyes is from El Monte not Hacienda Heights, Montoya is a SEM but was smart enough to get out of a program where the kids had to break up chest bumping between staff members. And last Booth is not from Las Vegas buddy do some better researching… either way does not matter because at the end of the day you and the Knights are RUNNER UPS so just sit and enjoy 2nd place because that’s where you guys will be again after the Double Wing done with you guys!!!!
