1. USC fell to Washington 28-14 Saturday to drop to 3-2 on the season.

2. UCLA lost to Arizona 20-17 Saturday night and is now 1-3 on the year.

3. Azusa Pacific won its first game of the season after three straight losses with a 38-12 victory over Simon Fraser Saturday.

4. The Chargers improved to 2-2 with a 30-10 win over the Miami Dolphins Sunday.

5. The Rams suffer their first loss of the season after three victories falling 55-40 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday at the Coliseum.

6. The Chicago Cubs made it official announcing that Manager Joe Maddon will not be back in 2020. In Maddon’s five year tenure, the Cubs made the post season four times and won the World Series in 2016 for the first time in 108 years.

7. The Pittsburgh Pirates fired Manager Clint Hurdle after a nine year run.

8. Previously number one ranked Clemson survived a 21-20 win over North Carolina Saturday.

9. MLB Playoffs are set: NL – Wildcard Game: Tampa Bay Rays at Oakland A’s. Division Series: WC Winner vs. Houston Astros; Minnesota Twins vs. N.Y. Yankees. AL – Wildcard Game: Milwaukee Brewers vs. Washington Nationals. Division Series: WC Winner vs. Dodgers; St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves.

10. Glendora (5-0) at Bonita (5-0) Friday night, 7:00 p.m.
