1. The Seattle Seahawks beat the Rams 30-29 on Thursday Night Football.

2. The Dodgers shut out the Washington Nationals 6-0 in Game One of the NLDS.

3. St. Louis Cardinals beat the Atlanta Braves 7-6 in Game One of the NLDS.

4. The New York Mets fired manager Mickey Callaway after a two year stint.

5. El Rancho at La Serna (at California) Friday night 7:00 p.m.

6. The Lakers open the exhibition season Saturday night at Golden State.

7. Denver Broncos at Chargers, Dignity Health Sports Park, Sunday 1:05 p.m.

8. The Chargers Keenan Allen leads the NFL in receiving with 452 yards.

9. On this day in 1959 the first World Series game is played in Los Angeles as the Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 3-1 before 92, 394 at the Memorial Coliseum.

10. NBA star Derrick Rose, (Chicago Bulls MVP 2011) turns 31 today.

    So much for Medrano’s squad, I think they can do some damage in D11 though. LS better not get too confident – league isn’t over and playoffs will be no cake walk. Wish ER could’ve put up a bigger fight but LS was just too much. Time for folks to face facts, LS is mighty good this year.

    Woo hoo! Guess La Serna proved who’s the daddy. What a performance they put it in routing El Rancho. Looks like La Serna is going 10 – 0 this season

    The Cajon Cowboys retired the jersey of four-year starter and current ASU freshman QB Jayden Daniels last evening. The player gained a CIF record 14,007 yards and 170 touchdowns in his time at the Inland Empire school. As I recall, around 50 of those TDs came against Downey.
