Serves Sierra Vista and Robyn Garcia right. Some years back she denied the Duarte transfers that went else well after destroying the Duarte program.
If they do get caught and dealt with, then oh well, they get what they deserve.
Are readers of this fine outlet aware that rentals and mortgage payments are in the stratosphere? What do you suppose that does to football players who are trying to find housing near their preferred school? That’s right, it binds them to an unsatisfactory situation, same as if commissioner Wigod had locked them in place. This leads to increased cheating, increased forfeitures, and increased anger all the way around. The solution is to abolish these stupid public-school-only transfer rules.
There is a rumor that Sierra Vista is going to forfeit several games for using an ineligible player. Every year a school loaded with transfers gets caught. They always say self-reported but then I got a bridge to sell you. There are already a handful of transfer laden schools that have “self reported”. The real ugly side is that all to often schools that cheat, yes I said cheat do not get caught until after they have celebrated league crowns and huge wins and the team cheated on gets blasted for failure. These cheating teams need to be sanctioned. No transfers, all players must live with a parent in the attendance zone for at least two years before anymore transfers allowed. These Uplands and Sierra Vista’s are only the ones that got caught, you just know there are so many more.
Can we get an Amen for the quality of Doug Brown’s photo? This has to be one of the best images EVER on MVS!
