(West Covina) – Los Altos broke open a close game in the fourth quarter and rolled to a 57-38 win over host West Covina Friday night in Hacienda League action.
The Conquerors led by eight heading into the final frame before going on a 7-0 run and outscoring the Bulldogs 18-7 in the fourth to win going away. Los Altos freshman Jazz Gardner had six points in the quarter Devin Lewis and Josh Tineo each added four to spark the Conquerors.
Los Altos led 14-11 after one and extended it to 27-20 at the half. Tineo and Christian Cavanias each had six points in the first half. Diego Guevara knocked down a pair of threes for West Covina in the second quarter to try to keep the Bulldogs close.

West Covina stayed with Los Altos in the third quarter and ended it down 39-31 but was unable to keep up down the stretch.
Gardner led the way for Los Altos with 16 points, Tineo finished with 13, Aibigho Ujadughele had 10 and Cavanias added eight. For West Covina Randy Jacob Tun scored 11, Leal had nine, Aaron Naranjo scored seven and Guevara with his pair of threes had six.
Los Altos is still undefeated in the Hacienda League improving to 6-0 and is 20-3 overall. West Covina fell to 0-6 in league and 6-17 overall
