  1. Elite Eight: Baylor vs. Arkansas, Oregon State vs. Houston; Gonzaga vs. USC, Michigan vs. UCLA. 
  2. Indiana signed Mike Woodson to a six year deal to be its next head coach the school announced Sunday. 
  3. The Arcadia Invitational, one of the premier high school track and field events in California, is scheduled for May 7-8 at Arcadia High School. 
  4. The NFL is expected to expand the regular season schedule to 17 games. The owners are scheduled to meet Tuesday and Wednesday of this week to decided on whether to approve it or not. 
  5. Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Andre Drummond is expected to sign with the Lakers. 
  6. Shaka Smart stepped down as the head coach at Texas to take over as the head coach at Marquette. 
  7. LaMarcus Aldridge signed with the Brooklyn Nets after completing a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs. 
  8. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw finished spring training with an ERA of 10.29. 
  9. The Dodgers open the 2021 season Thursday at Colorado at 1:10 p.m. Kershaw is the scheduled starter.
  10. This the first time ever that USC and UCLA have made the Elite Eight in the same year.

    David Price is going to start the season in the Dodgers’ bullpen; is it possible that he can give Kenley Jansen some help in the closer role?
    Dustin May will be the No. 5 starting pitcher for L.A., at least for now.
