  1. USC named former Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman as its next head basketball coach. 
  2. San Dimas beat Crespi 7-1 Thursday in the Boras Classic Final. 
  3. Seton Hall beat Indiana State 79-77 Thursday night to win the NIT Championship. 
  4. San Dimas’ Jude Favela threw a no-hitter in the Saints 7-0 win over Ganesha Wednesday in the Boras Classic. 
  5. The Buffalo Bills traded wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for a second-round draft pick in 2025. 
  6. Quarterback Carson Wentz signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs to backup Patrick Mahomes. 
  7. Shohei Ohtani hit his first home run of the year in the Dodgers 5-4 win over the San Francisco Giants Wednesday night. The Dodgers are 7-2 on the season.   
  8. The Angels are 4-2 through the first six games of the season. 
  9. On this date in 1993 North Carolina beat Michigan 77-71 to win the NCAA Men’s Basketball championship. North Carolina’s Donald Williams was named Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament. 
  10. Men’s College Basketball Final Four – Saturday April 6: North Carolina State vs. Purdue 3:09 PM; Alabama vs. UConn 5:49 PM. Both games on TBS.

    With Bronny James’ lackluster play, Musselman can look forward to this kid sticking around for three more years. Daddy won’t like that, but reality is a harsh mistress.
