0 and 14 this season so far and last season (and maybe more previous seasons?) similar is , as I suggest, clearly suggests a “group of administrators that do not give one ounce of feces about their baseball players/ student athletes. Have they even tried to hire a new head coach? What I hear , from good sources, is NO! What I do hear from good sources is ‘EM does not have the athletes”! YET they recently hired a well known head football coach (who carries the same assistants over a long period of time) who has very good LEAGUE STATISTICS during his tenures at at least two very small programs. ?? Is it at all possible , if the administration cares even 10% for this group of student athletes, that they should look for a new coach in the CIF Coaches Wanted directory? What can they lose, especially if the current coach is not teaching at the school? Who knows? Maybe they find a ballplayer out of college who wants to start his coaching career with a ‘non stop losing program?” Another possibility is hiring an experienced coach with decent credentials/statistics, who wants to coach again after a long layoff. Too darn bad for the kids . Easiest way out is “NO TALENT!” Well I have heard the exact comment long ago /decades ago “NO TALENT’! Yet this school’s staff finally got out , and a new coach turned terrible every year into decent every year
