Did anyone get video on that Judah Douglas kid, omg he is just a living highlight tape. When he snatched the ball out of the opposing players hand’s, best catch I’ve seen in person. And then he mossed someone again the next play just a playmaker on both ends of the floor. Seen him lock up a receiver from Ot7. He didn’t get a ball caught on him. Someone let me know if they have the video of that kid because I would love for him to see it on video.

BP was way better this year, very well run. Only thing would be to limit amount of teams. 36 gets too hairy sometimes. Consider this the best tournament in the SGV now that the SGV shootout was tanked.

Well I will say that the tournament was much better organized than last year . The games were run promptly and on time ; staff was in place and tried to be helpful. There was no central activity /game board ; was told there was an App with games and locations displayed, but staff didn’t know App. The teams seemed to know the schedule, and you could follow along once you located squad .
My only issue is that 36 squads are too many . Typically teams played one , then rested two games . The pool play dragged on until almost 1pm. It was 90 + out there . Parents were happy to get out before noon if they could . 24 teams would be perfect; however this would be like telling NFL to turn back to 16 games. They’re not going to give up the money . With team entry fees , parking fees, vendor licenses for concessions it’s a big money maker for BP football.
